Qualifications:

  • A valid Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) license in British Columbia.

Responsibilities Include:

As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will be key in ensuring efficient patient care and seamless clinical operations. Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Assisting the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and smooth workflow.
  • Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and managing infection control protocols.
  • Taking and processing dental radiographs (X-rays).
  • Educating patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene best practices.
  • Providing chairside support, anticipating the dentist’s needs, and ensuring efficiency in procedures.
  • Managing dental materials and instruments, ensuring proper organization and availability.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate patient records and charts.
